Doug Warden

Doug Warden has over 30 years of experience in leading the financial, strategic and commercial functions of businesses in the natural resources and agricultural sectors. He also has extensive experience within the mining industry in Australia, US, Africa and Sri Lanka.

Mr Warden has been the chief financial officer of Resolute Mining since September 2021 and became chief financial officer of Core Lithium in mid-April 2023. Prior to that, he was the chief financial officer of CBH Group where he was responsible for finance, treasury, tax, strategy & business development, procurement and IT, as well as being integral in leading an organisational transformation process. Prior to CBH, Mr Warden spent 15 years in the mining industry including at ASX-listed Iluka Resources where he held a number of senior financial and commercial roles including as general manager of business development; general manager of exploration; and head of resource development at Mineral Sands. Mr Warden was also the chief financial officer of Summit Resources and Jabiru Metals, and began his career in corporate finance and insolvency with Ernst and Young and KPMG.

Mr Warden is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters of Business Administration from AGSM at the University of New South Wales.
