BGC executive Stewart Hart is joining CBH Group as chief financial officer, replacing Doug Warden. Mr Hart has more than 30 years’ experience in finance, most recently at BGC as executive general manager sales processes. Prior to BGC, he was the chief financial officer at Western Power and has held executive and senior finance roles at BHP.
JWH Group has welcomed Paul Spadanuda as general manager for Oswald Homes and Residential Attitudes. Mr Spadanuda has experience in commercial and residential construction, most recently working as general manager of BGC Development. He has previously worked at Now Living as general manager, at Terrace WA as general manager and operations manager, and as operations manager at Perceptions.
Corey Beat is joining Findex as a partner in the tax advisory team. Most recently, Mr Beat worked as a tax consultant with RSM Australia for 11 years, including seven years as a principal in the tax services division. Before this, he worked at WHK Horwath and RSM Bird Cameron. Previously, he was chair of The Tax Institute’s professional development committee in WA.
Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association has announced Stuart Hicks will be its new chair. Mr Hicks led the Department of Transport, Marine & Harbours Department, Transperth, the State Shipping Service and the National Transport Commission in the 1990s. Since moving to Margaret River in 2011, Mr Hicks has been active on boards, including serving as chair of the South West Development Commission.
Gordon Wallace will be the new state manager WA at Aware Super. Mr Wallace joined the fund four years ago as advice delivery manager and played a role in its merger with WA Super late last year. Before joining the fund, he worked as the regional manager for StatePlus and held roles in the financial planning industry for 15 years.
Grower Group Alliance has appointed Tom Davidson as director of the South West WA Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub. Prior to joining the GGA, Mr Davidson was head of strategy and digital at ASX-listed agribusiness Elders. He also has previous experience running his own management consulting business and through roles with PwC Strategy&, and iiNet.
