Azure Minerals Limited engaged in the exploration, development, and operation precious and base mineral projects in northern Mexico. The company explored primarily for gold, copper, silver, and zinc deposits.
It held 100% ownership interests in 14 precious and base metal properties that covered an area of 1,690 square kilometres.
The company’s principal projects included the Promontorio copper-gold-silver project in Chihuahua, Mexico.
In May Azure was acquired by SH Mining, a bid vehicle jointly owned by Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile and Hancock Prospecting.
