Artemis Resources and Novo Resources have commenced a major exploration program aimed at proving up grades and tonnages at the Purdy’s Reward conglomerate and paleoplacer gold deposit, 35km southeast of Karratha, in the west Pilbara of W.A. The work will generate a mineralisation report to underwrite the application for a mining lease and the company also reported its 3.3km super-deep drill hole has reached 163m depth.

Artemis Resources has received a key safety approval for the installation of a new gold circuit at its Radio Hill processing plant near Karratha, W.A and it is now only waiting on the environmental and final licence approvals to start installation. The full capital and installation cost of the Gekko circuit and gold room equipment remains on budget at about $3m.

Artemis Resources has beaten Rio Tinto to a 600km2 exploration licence application that is located just 40km east of Newcrest Mining’s Telfer copper-gold mine in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. The prospect, which will take Artemis’ Pilbara landholdings up to about 2400km2, also hosts the northern extension of the same geological structure that hosts London listed Greatland Gold’s Haverion copper-gold discovery.

Artemis Resources’ has hit a number of exciting multi-mineral drill intersections including 6.5m @ 23.44g/t gold, 2.32% cobalt and 10.35% copper from 47m down-hole at its Carlow Castle project in the Pilbara, W.A. The infill drilling campaign is designed to increase resource definition and has been expanded to further test the project, which remains open along strike and at depth.

Artemis Resources has reported a swathe of high grade gold, cobalt and copper drilling intersections from its Carlow Castle project east of Karratha in the Pilbara. Bets results were 22m @ 6.1g/t gold, 0.55% cobalt and 2.35% copper from 133m down-hole at the Carlow Castle South East prospect, whilst the Carlow Castle South prospect produced 31m @ 1.65g/t gold, 0.11% cobalt and 0.47% copper from just 37m.

Artemis Resources has hit a treasure trove of high grade gold, cobalt and copper drilling intersections from its Carlow Castle project east of Karratha in the Pilbara. Results include a knee trembling 132m intersection grading 4.89g/t gold, 0.25% cobalt and 1.11% copper from 98m down-hole at Carlow Castle South East. The company has now extended the mineralised footprint to a depth of nearly 250 metres below surface.

Artemis Resources has reported exceptional high grade cobalt results and solid gold and copper numbers, from a drill campaign at its Carlow Castle project near Karratha in W.A. Results include a new cobalt zone at the Quod Est prospect that produced 17m @ 0.61% cobalt, 1.86g/t gold and 0.05% copper from 88m down-hole. The company also outlined high-grade ore intercepts from infill drilling at the nearby prospect areas.

Artemis Resources has recovered 225 ounces of gold nuggets to date from its ongoing conglomerate gold exploration play at the 47K Patch and Purdy’s Reward discoveries, just south of Karratha, in the western Pilbara region of W.A. The company is working with CSIRO and is currently completing a geophysical survey over 47K Patch. Bulk sampling will be carried out once all data is consolidated, integrated and processed.

Artemis Resources’ drill campaign at Carlow Castle has uncovered the potential for more mineralisation at depth with a notable intersection of 25m @ 3.38g/t gold, 0.24% cobalt and 0.77% copper from 228m including 5m @ 9.62g/t gold, 0.65% cobalt and 0.79% copper. Further extensional and infill drilling is planned to target further strike extensions and define the major controlling structures.

Artemis Resources has revealed an impressive 55% increase in copper and zinc resources at its Whundo mine near Karratha in WA. The new estimate of 2.67 million tonnes grading 1.14% copper and 1.12% zinc includes a near surface oxide resource of 383,000 tonnes grading 1.78% copper. The resource update is timely, as prices for copper and zinc have doubled over the last 10 years since the mine was mothballed.

Artemis Resources says it finally has a good handle on the geology at its intriguing cobalt-gold-copper ore system at the company's Calow Castle project near Karatha after throwing nearly 25,000 metres of drilling at it this year. The existing resource of 4.5 million tonnes grading 0.9g/t gold, 0.07% cobalt, 0.4% copper and 1.3g/t silver dates from January 2018.

Artemis Resources’ wholly-owned Radio Hill processing plant in the west Pilbara region of WA has drawn Eric Sprott-backed Canadian explorer Pacton Gold to sign a MoU for a potential processing deal. Pacton is currently identifying conglomerate gold opportunities on its tenements for bulk sampling and production. Radio Hill has approved throughput capacity of 500,000 tonnes per annum of gold ore.

Artemis Resources has completed preliminary metallurgical test work on ore composites from its Carlow Castle gold-copper-cobalt project located near Karratha in WA, saying that the materials are amenable to gravity recovery of gold and conventional base metal flotation ore processing. Up to 82% of the copper content reported to concentrates, whilst up to 75% of the gold was recovered via combined gravity concentration methods and flotation tests.

Artemis Resources has announced an updated mineral resource estimate of 975,000 tonnes grading 2g/t gold for just under 63,000 ounces at its satellite Weerianna gold project, just 35km from its 500,000 tonne per annum Radio Hill processing plant near Karratha in WA. Gold mineralisation at Weerianna outcrops at surface and the deposit could potentially be mined by open cut methods as an ore feed for the existing plant.

Artemis Resources has delineated a new shallow, indicated mineral resource of 1.15Mt @ 0.52% nickel, 0.73% copper and 277ppm cobalt at its Radio Hill nickel mine near Karratha in WA. Management said more work is required in 2019 to determine the best way to monetise the project, which is located just 400m from the existing Radio Hill processing plant.

Artemis Resources has reported encouraging recoveries of gold, copper and cobalt from test work on ore composites from its Carlow Castle project located near Karratha in WA, proving the amenability of the ores to conventional processing. Gold recoveries were 98-99% using gravity and cyanide leaching techniques, whilst 77-85% of the total copper content and 73-79% of the cobalt metal was recovered into high grade concentrates by flotation.

Artemis Resources has upgraded mineral resources at its Carlow Castle gold-copper-cobalt project near Karratha in the Pilbara region of WA, boosting the tonnages by 71% over last year’s estimate. The deposit now contains an inferred resource of 7.7 million tonnes grading 1.06g/t gold, 0.51% copper and 0.08% cobalt. Last month the company reported exceptional recoveries of gold, copper and cobalt from metallurgical test work at the project.
