Ian Cochrane

Ian Cochrane was one of Perth’s top corporate lawyers prior to becoming a professional company director.

He was chair of VOC Group, the holding company established by the late Michael Wright to hold his family interests. Mr Cochrane was also a director ASX-listed companies Ausdrill and Dacian Gold, and private companies Wright Prospecting and Ardross Estates.

When he retired from legal practice in 2013, Mr Cochrane was a partner of global firm Clifford Chance which had previously acquired boutique Perth law firm Cochrane Lishman Carson Luscombe.

Mr Cochrane passed away in July 2021.
