Belmont-based GenusPlus Group is a contractor focused on the power and telecommunications sectors. Led by chief executive David Riches, its operating subsidiaries include Powerlines Plus (est in 2009) and Proton Power (est in 2017).
It has also acquired Complete Cabling and Diamond Communications (now merged and trading as Diamond Underground Services), Queensland-based Burton Power and Kambalda-based KEC (now part of Powerlines Plus). They deliver services in transmission, distribution, substation maintenance and construction, telecommunications infrastructure and technical services above and below ground. GenusPlus also has support service companies providing engineering, traffic management and training services. Its clients include mining companies, power utilities and telcos.
In December 2019, GenusPlus acquired EC&M.
In December 2020, it listed on the ASX.
