Contracts play practical role for community
Fortescue Metals Group’s recent awarding of $179 million in contracts to Aboriginal businesses highlights two different approaches to indigenous development.
Warrikal is a Western Australian business working across multiple mine sites throughout the Pilbara, specialising in mechanical mine site maintenance and shut down activities as well as multi-disciplined small to medium capital projects.
From its workshops in Perth and Karratha, Warrikal provides mechanical maintenance, SMP installation works, non-process infrastructure projects, rope access and scaffolding, electrical and instrumentation, civil construction, steel fabrication, plate processing & wear products.
