Located in the western central Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, Beverley is about 131km east of Perth.

The Shire is a vibrant rural community and the home of a highly productive broad acre farming industry with a smaller diversified agricultural base.

It includes the suburbs of Balkuling, Bally Bally, Beverley, Kokeby, Mawson, Morbinning, and West Dale.
