Screenwest

Screenwest (Australia) Limited is Western Australia’s screen industry development organisation. It encourages and promotes the development and growth of the Western Australian screen industry by providing and facilitating financial and other assistance.

Through strategic leadership and partnerships, Screenwest works with its government and screen industry partners to develop, support and promote film, television and digital media production in the state.

First established in 1978 as the Western Australian Film Council, in 2017, Screenwest transitioned from a State Government agency to an independent, not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.
