Established in 1991, The Broome Aboriginal Media Association (BAMA) was created to meet the need for an Indigenous media service for the growing town of Broome. BAMA wholly owns Goolarri Media Enterprises and has delegated all operational management of BAMA activities to GME. GME assists the development of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communications in the Kimberley region, and supports the enhancement of Indigenous musicians throughout Western Australia.
