BHP funds Hedlands arts centre
The professional development of Aboriginal artists in Port Hedland received a boost last week with the opening of Spinifex Hill Artists Studios.
FORM is an independent non-profit cultural organisation that develops and advocates for excellence in creativity and artistic practice in Western Australia.
It sees creativity as a catalyst for positive change, and believes that the best, most vibrant places to live are the ones that nurture dynamic creativity, showcase cultural diversity, insist on quality, and are shaped with people in mind.
Its activities span high-level artist development and exhibitions, place-making and strategy, social and multicultural engagement, cultural infrastructure development, Aboriginal cultural maintenance, research, and advocacy.

Paul Chamberlain has been appointed chair of non-profit cultural organisation FORM, replacing Tania Hudson, who remains on the board.Mr Chamberlain is a philanthropist and investor, and joined the FORM board last year.
