Charities challenged to measure up
Many charities are struggling to measure outcomes in an increasingly competitive funding environment.
Established in 1959, Ruah is a community services organisation based in Perth, Western Australia. The organisation works in partnership with citizens who require support to improve the quality of life. At Ruah, people are helped to get support and service in all areas of their lives, including: accommodation and housing, Centrelink and income support, health services for mental illness, drug and alcohol services, legal matters, medical assistance, employment and recreation, relationships with family and children, spirituality and pastoral care.
In November 2019, Ruah merged with the Mental Health Law Centre to provide WA's disadvantaged population with increased access to legal and community services.
