Warburton named business woman of the year
A senior figure in Western Australia’s construction and mining industry, Sharon Warburton, has won this year’s Telstra Business Woman of the year award for the state.
Rise Network, originally called Hills Community Support Group, is a multi-award winning not-for-profit organisation providing community support services in Western Australia since 1983.
Through a staff and volunteer workforce of over 400 people, Rise provides support to over 2000 people from the frail & aged, those with a mental health issue, people with disability, vulnerable youth, and the families & carers of all of those people.
Rise's vision is "To build on the capacity within each individual to achieve their personal potential".
Rise has since established itself as a provider of proactive highly personalised services that deliver support to many members of the West Australian community, their family and other supporters.
