Round Oak Minerals

Round Oak Minerals (formerly CopperChem), was a wholly owned subsidiary of Washington H Soul Pattinson and Company Limited. The company was sold to Aeris Resources in July 2022.

In 2018, as its focus moved away from being purely a copper producer to a base and precious metals producer, the company changed its name from CopperChem Pty Ltd to Round Oak Minerals Pty Ltd. The new Company name provided a link back to the company's genesis at its Great Australia Mine (part of Cloncurry Operations) which is located on Round Oak station in north-west Queensland.

Round Oak had open cut and underground mines and associated processing facilities operating across Australia. The company also had a number of advanced projects together with significant exploration tenement holdings in north-west Queensland, north-east Victoria and in the northern goldfields region of Western Australia.
