Rewards Group managed more than 12,000 hectares of timber and fruit plantations, mostly on land owned by publicly listed company, The ARK Fund. Both companies wanted to merge their businesses and raise $55 million dollars to retire $28 million in bank debt and provide working capital for the new entity bu tht emergered didn't happen. <br> <br>
Rewards Group and its subsidiary Rewards Projects were placed in administration in May 2010, putting $250 million of investor funds in doubt.
