Lazarus Corporate Finance

Lazarus Corporate Finance is a Perth corporate advisory firm with links to Sydney-based Lazurus Securities. Lazarus CF's former names include Pinnacle Corporate Finance, Somers and Partners, Merchant Corporate Advisory Perth, and GMP Securities Australia.

Somers & Partners was a corporate finance firm comprising the former Perth and Sydney offices of GMP Securities. In January 2016 Toronto-based GMP announced the closure of its offices in London, Perth and Sydney and a restructuring of its US energy businesses in Houston and New York. GMP had opened its Perth office in 2011 after recruiting corporate finance executive Karl Paganin from Euroz Securities. Andrew Frazer, who took over from Mr Paganin as managing director of Perth office in 2015, negotiated to keep the Perth and Sydney offices open with new financial backing from Bermuda-based investment company Somers Limited. In June 2016 the firm absorbed Capital Investment Partners. In May 2017 the company announced a merger with Merchant Group, which was later terminated. In 2018 the firm announced an alliance with Mejority Capital's Pinnacle Securities subsidiary, and was renamed Pinnacle Corporate Finance. In 2020 Pinnacle CF was renamed Lazarus Corporate Finance.

Lazarus Corporate Finance has since been acquired by RM Capital.
