Alec Pismiris has over 30 years of experience in the securities, finance and mining industries, and has participated in numerous processes by which boards have assessed the acquisition and financing of a diverse range of assets. He has a sound knowledge of ASX corporate governance guidelines, board processes and the regulatory environment in which public companies operate.
Mr Pismiris founded Capital Investment Partners along with Adam Rankine-Wilson in 2006. He left CIP to become an executive director at Azure Capital in 2008, a role in which he served until 2013. He subsequently returned to CIP and became a director of Somers & Partners after it merged with CIP in June 2016.
Mr Pismiris holds a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
