Board Moves October 1, 2020

Boyd Timler has joined the board of Artemis Resources as an independent non-executive director. Mr Timler has over 38 years of experience within the resources industry, including at senior executive and operator level in both open pit and underground gold and base metals mines.

DXN has appointed John Dimitropoulos as non-executive director. Mr Dimitropoulos spent over 30 years in corporate strategy & advisory, as well as international mergers and acquisitions, specifically in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors.

Anna Sloboda has been appointed non-executive director of Elixir Energy. Ms Sloboda has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, and in developing junior resource companies operating around the world.

Lynas Corporation has appointed Vanessa Guthrie as non-executive director. Dr Guthrie is an experienced company director with over 30 years of experience in the resources sector.

Myanmar Metals has appointed its general manager of finance Meagan Hamblin as alternate company secretary. Ms Hamblin is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, corporate accounting and advisory service.

Karen Gadsby, non-executive director of Talisman Mining since 2008, will be retiring from the board at the upcoming AGM on November 4 in order to focus on other business interests.

Zaffer Soemya has been appointed non-executive director of Victory Mines following the resignation of Alec Pismiris. Mr Soemya has over 25 years of experience in project management of major infrastructure and mining projects. The company has also appointed current non-executive directors Matthew Blake and David Sanders as executive director and non-executive chair respectively.
