Kairiki Energy

Shares in Subiaco-based companies Comdek Ltd and Kairiki Energy Ltd have been placed in a trading halt.

Subiaco-based explorer Kairiki Energy will raise at least $7 million through a share placement to fund ongoing works at its project in the Philippines.

Perth-based oil and gas minnow Kairiki Energy has announced a $12.1 million capital raising to pay back company debts and provide additional working capital.

Subiaco company Kairiki Energy has cancelled a $12 million right issue that was “partially and conditionally” underwritten by Patersons Securities, after failing to achieve its minimum subscription amount.

Joseph Lacson has become Kairiki Energy’s non-executive chairman following the resignation of executive chairman Peter Cockcroft.Mr Lacson has been a member of the board since 2013. Mr Cockcroft will continue as a non-executive director.

Boyd Timler has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Medusa Mining. Mr Timler has over 30 years of progressive international mining experience and has most recently served as the chief operating officer of Beadell Resources.

Emma Walczak has been appointed as joint company secretary of Tanga Resources. Martin Bouwmeester has been appointed as company secretary of Orion Gold and its subsidiaries. Mr Bouwmeester replaces Kim Hogg who has resigned.

Castillo Copper has appointed Nicole Fernandes as a non-executive director and Tim Slate as its joint company secretary.Jack James has resigned as a non-executive director of the company. 

Peter Cockcroft has resigned as a director of Kairiki Energy. Steven Wood has resigned as a joint company secretary of WHL Energy. 

Auroch Minerals announced that Dr. Andrew Tunks has committed to a full-time role as Auroch CEO. Auroch also advised that Ryan Gaffney has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director and Nicholas Ong has resigned as Director.
