India Resources Limited engages in the copper mining and mineral exploration business in India. It explores for iron ore, copper, zinc, lead, silver, gold, and diamonds. The company’s portfolio of projects comprise the Surda copper project in the state of Jharkhand; Aravalli, Hindoli, and Sathuddia base metals projects in the state of Rajasthan; Askot base metals project in the state of Uttarakhand; Bhandara diamond project in the states of Orissa, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh; Dharwar diamond project in the state of Andhra Pradesh; Bundelkhand diamond project in the state of Madhya Pradesh; and Bonai iron ore project in the states of Orissa and Jharkhand.

In June 2017, Deloitte was appointed as administrator to the company. In August 2019 the company was delisted from the ASX due to a failure to pay its annual listing fees.
