Ora Banda Mining is confident it has identified the potential site for its next underground gold mine after unveiling significant results from two holes sunk at the company’s Sand King prospect near Kalgoorlie. Management says the holes were designed to follow up historical drilling from the 1980s that showed potential for mineralisation at depth, with the known strike of Sand King at more than 800m.

K2fly has grown its annual recurring revenue (ARR) for a 13th straight quarter, revealing a 6 per cent jump up to $7.9 million in the company’s latest financial disclosure … and it says there is still room to expand. Management says ARR was up 22 per cent on last year’s corresponding quarter, while comparative revenue increased by 29 per cent.

Auric Mining has topped its record price for gold sales from its Jeffreys Find mine near Norseman after selling 1264 ounces at $3131 per ounce to the Perth Mint for a gross revenue of nearly $3.9 million. The joint venture operation between Auric and Kalgoorlie-based BML Ventures has now sold 8293 ounces from the gold mine for a gross revenue of close to $25 million.

The US Food and Drug Administration has provided crucial investigational new drug clearance for Australian clinical-stage cell therapy company Chimeric Therapeutics to begin trials using its “CHM 2101" gastrointestinal cancer therapy. The company plans to start testing the drug in multiple medical centres next year for patients with advanced colorectal cancer, gastric cancer and neuroendocrine tumours.

A record breaking 29 per cent increase in battery collection, an agreement with MinRes and the fifth consecutive quarter of gross profits have rounded a solid quarter for Lithium Australia. The company collected a whopping 413 tonnes of batteries last quarter, with higher-margin Lithium-ion batteries representing 44 per cent of collections that it will harvest lucrative battery metals from.

Australian explorer Gold Mountain has picked up lithium in soil samples over a 2.5km long zone at its new Salitre project in Brazil that it says could extend out to 8km in length. The anomalous zone also shows caesium, tantalum and tin and remains open to the north and south. Two nearby anomalies also require more sampling to resolve.

Business goliath Wesfarmers will pump $26m into Ora Banda Mining to buy 65 per cent of the lithium rights at the company’s Davyhurst gold project north of Kalgoorlie. The move follows the discovery of lithium at Davyhurst back in April and will also see Ora Banda pick up a 2 per cent royalty. Ora Banda plans to monetise its royalty up front, courtesy of a partial sale to a third party.

GreenTech Metals has snagged rock chips going up to 1.82 per cent lithium oxide over a combined 11.5km of strike at its North Kobe and South Pegmatite zones in the West Pilbara. The results demonstrate the elevated lithium grades and potential scale opportunity offered by LCT pegmatites in Greentech’s 100 per cent owned Ruth Well and adjoining Osborne tenements, the latter of which is just 25km west along strike from the Azure Minerals massive Andover lithium discovery.

88 Energy hopes to bolster its Phoenix project in Alaska this month by certifying a maiden contingent resource for the lower basin floor fan reservoir intersected by the Hickory-1well in March this year. The pay zone was drilled and flow tested successfully by neighbouring company Patheon Resources on its ground to the north, resulting in a significant 962.5 million barrels of total marketable liquid as a best estimate contingent resource for the reservoir.

DiscovEx says that its joint venture partner Carnaby Resources has completed its maiden interim mineral resource for its Greater Duchess iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) project of 21.8 million tonnes just 70km southeast of Mt. Isa in Queensland. The Greater Duchess Project includes the “Southern Hub” tenements in the Mt. Isa Region of Queensland where DiscovEx holds a 17.5 per cent free-carried interest in 12 exploration permits for minerals.

Lindian Resources has officially wrapped up its 4000m mine development drilling at its Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi as it aims to define its resource at the operation into the indicated category. Assay results are expected to arrive in early December with a 400m geotechnical drill campaign to assess rock mechanics and ground stability set to start and finish next month.

Gold explorer Strickland Metals says it will begin 440m of diamond drilling this weekend homing in on its new Marwari gold target defined last month in maiden aircore drilling at the company’s Horse Well prospect in WA’s Yandal belt. Previous drilling at the prospect yielded a discovery hole which included an 8m interval running at an eye-catching 17.7grams per tonne gold which could indicate a new high-grade gold trend at Horse Well.

Auric Mining refuses to rest on its laurels, launching a grade control drill program at its Munda gold project near Widgiemooltha only days after recording one of the highest-ever gold price sales in Australia. Earlier this week the company sold 1361 ounces from its Jeffreys Find mine at $3130 per ounce to the Perth Mint for a gross revenue of $4.26 million.

Perth-based Chariot Corporation will hit the boards at the ASX today with its foot on pretty much every potentially lithium-bearing pegmatite in the US state of Wyoming and a clay-based lithium play in Nevada. With some pulse-quickening lithium rock chip grades already in the bag, the lithium-bearing pegmatites in Wyoming look like they are begging to see a drill bit.

Infinity Mining has picked up more ground right next to its Hillside Project in the East Pilbara, bolstering its total landholdings in the broader region to 975 square kilometres. According to the company, the new tenement has potential for shear-hosted gold and VHMS prospects given its ideal location within strongly structurally deformed greenstones. Exploration is expected to kick off in the next few weeks.

Xanadu Mines has uncovered a new gold zone below its Golden Eagle deposit at the company’s Kharmagtai copper-gold project in Mongolia with a follow-up drill campaign already underway to test the area. Promisingly, a diamond drill hole at the deposit returned results with a significantly higher grade than what was used to define the mineral resource at the operation in 2021.

Boots on ground at Allup Silica’s Cabbage Spot project has mapped out an extensive high-purity silica sand system within easy trucking distance to the Wyndham Port on WA’s Kimberley coast. The company collected 20 surface samples along a 2km traverse designed to help pinpoint future priority drill targets. Previous sampling across the surficial sand masses returned a plethora of high-purity results peaking at 99.4 per cent silica.

Australian-based reproductive biotechnology company, Memphasys says it has received a research and development tax refund of about $1.3 million from the Australian Tax Office. The refund has been used to repay an R&D loan to Radium Capital of $849,000 plus interest of $46,621 and its net refund of $419,466 will be reinvested and used as working capital.

Lycaon Resources has begun downhole electromagnetic surveys on two 800m deep diamond drillholes at its Bow River project in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. The company is seeking to identify downhole and off-hole conductors potentially related to nickel-copper sulphide intercepts in both holes up to 45m wide which were also confirmed by pXRF. The results will inform the design of future deep drilling of the nickeliferous intrusion.

American West has kicked off a maiden drill program at its Copper Warrior project, following up favourable geophysical IP anomalies and outcrop samples returning up to 3.3 per cent copper. The project is located nearby the historical Big Indian Copper Mine and along strike from Utah’s second largest operating copper mine with the current program to include 10 RC holes with initial assay results expected in 4-6 weeks.

Reach Resources has acquired a new Mining Lease located in the prospective Gascoyne region of WA which it plans to incorporate as part of the company’s existing Morrissey Hill lithium project. The acquisition of Mining Lease M09/101 appears to be well located both strategically and logistically with the company having already drawn up plans for exploration and trial bulk lithium ore sampling on site.

WA gold explorer, KalGold has nailed a string of solid gold hits at its Pinjin project near Kalgoorlie including multiple intersections running between 10m and 15m wide grading upwards of 5 grams per tonne gold. The company says recent reverse circulation drilling has yielded exceptional open-ended results from 3 prospects 140km northeast of Kalgoorlie extending its Kirgella North, Kirgella Gift and Providence target area to about 1150m of mineralised strike.

The company says the CEA and environmental impact assessment consultants recently joined its Sri Lankan staff members on the island for a site visit as it continues to push its mining case.

Altech Batteries has unveiled the new design for its 60KWh Cerenergy sodium chloride solid-state battery pack and now has two prototypes under construction by its project partner, the Fraunhofer Institute in the German city of Dresden. The pack has been upgraded to improve structural integrity, cell retention and connectivity, heat loss and insulation and the ability to endure all temperature extremes.

Globe Metals & Mining has achieved metals extraction of more than 99 per cent on concentrates from its Kanyika niobium project in Malawi following a savvy decision to switch to vapour-chlorination technology. The company says the results validate its decision to move from high-cost, toxic, acid-based extraction and also highlight many other cost, processing, infrastructure, environmental, handling and ESG benefits.

A research and development tax offset of $15.6 million – and a healthy bank balance now at $29.3 million – will underpin Empire Energy Group’s bid to take its Carpentaria pilot project to a final investment decision. The company says its Beetaloo Basin project has the potential to service the Top End and east coast of Australia with more than 500 terajoules of power per day.

Globe Metals & Mining has signed a non-binding term sheet with TCM Research, giving it exclusive use of the latter’s principal technology for processing niobium from the Kanyika project in Malawi. TCM has been selected to design the refinery process for the Kanyika concentrate and to determine the design parameters of a proposed refinery after carrying out metallurgical testwork on a sample.

A raft of solid new gallium hits have backed up Terrain Minerals’ claims in August that it wanted to unearth the silvery-white metal to complement the clay-hosted rare earths at its Lort River project near Esperance in Western Australia. The company says results from its recent AC drilling program included near-surface intersections of 38m at 34.1g/t gallium oxide and 27m at 35.6g/t.

There is new survival hope for people diagnosed with brain cancer after a positive response from patients engaged in a Chimeric Therapeutics trial designed to monitor the efficacy of its promising cell therapy for glioblastoma. The cancer fighter says more than half of its participating patients extended median survival expectations up to 10 months, with two patients demonstrating survival beyond 14 months.

Horizon Minerals will retain financial exposure to 62 tenements within its Kalgoorlie project area despite entering into a binding asset sale agreement for the ground with Northern Star Resources. According to the deal, Northern Star will pay Horizon $3.1 million in cash, in addition to receiving discovery payments of $20 per ounce for any JORC-compliant mineral resource at the sites – capped at 2 million ounces.
