WA’s biggest construction contractor, Multiplex, has extended its scope of works at AAIG’s Capital Square, having been appointed to deliver fit-out works at the office development, which will become home to Woodside Petroleum in the second half of next year.
The 32-level building will include a 400-seat auditorium, extensive end of trip and wellness facilities, as well as a four-level office and gallery space on Mounts Bay Road.
Multiplex WA regional managing director Chris Palandri said the fit-out was designed to foster innovation and collaboration.
“We are excited to partner with Woodside on what is set to be one of Perth’s best, and Australia’s leading workplaces,” he said.
“Through engaging in an early contractor involvement process with Woodside, we have been able to fully understand Woodside’s vision for their campus in the city and are working to deliver a high-performance, sustainable workplace that connects with the community and has a genuine impact on the wellbeing of its occupants.”
Sustainability initiatives in place in the building include energy efficient lighting, water efficient air-conditioning, rainwater harvesting and natural daylight access.
Multiplex has begun work on the fit-out, with the build expected to be ready for Woodside to move from Woodside Plaza in the second half of 2018.
