Katherine Martin joined Macmahon as General Manager, People and HSEQT in 2019. She brings more than two decades’ experience in senior roles in human resources, workforce planning, organisational development and change management.
A skilled communicator and negotiator, Ms Martin has directed HR policy and strategic people initiatives for national and global S&P, ASX 200 and Fortune 500 companies – working across multiple commodities and locations. Immediately prior to joining Macmahon, she was head of People and Capability at Mineral Resources Limited, responsible for optimising the company’s people capabilities to underpin growth.
With a career forged in the mining and resources sector, including management positions with Newmont, BC Iron, HWE Mining and Barrick Gold, Ms Martin offers extensive industry knowledge and exceptional networks. She has a keen interest in building employee engagement and capability through organisational design, leadership development and culture.
Ms Martin is a member of the Australian HR Institute.
