Tim Clifton

Tim Clifton has more than 40 years of mining and corporate experience as a geologist and lawyer. He has extensive knowledge in the Peak Hill/Doolgunna region. As project executive and corporate advisor of Abra Mining, Mr Clifton helped evaluate projects and corporate opportunities, develop marketing strategies and assess new equity finance requirements and also contributed to overall project and company development strategy. He was managing director of Perilya from January 1988 to May 2005 where he led its transformation from explorer to a diversified miner. Mr Clifton graduated from University of Western Australia in Science, and from University of Adelaide in geology.
