Sybrandt Van Dyk has more than 25 years of finance experience, primarily within the resources sector.
Prior to becoming chief executive and managing director of DDH1 Drilling in October 2018, Mr van Dyk was chief executive of Pumps United, chief executive of Macmahon, and held several senior operational roles at WesTrac Group and at Kimberly-Clark in South Africa. DDH1 was acquired by Perenti in October 2023, and Mr Van Dyk became president of the newly created drilling services division at Perenti.
Mr van Dyk holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of South Africa, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
