In our latest edition, Business News asked six women about their careers, the greatest challenges they have faced and their proudest moments.
Sharna Collard is a Ballardong/Wilmen woman of the Noongar nation on her father's side. She has been working alongside her father, Kim Collard, for over 5 years predominately being involved in the Kooya Consultancy business where she is responsible for the Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training and Education for many organisations. She is also responsible for strategic business development and manages client relationships for Kooya Fleet Solutions and Kulbardi.
Ms Collard is the chief executive of Kooya Australia Fleet Solutions, a certified National Supplier of Supply Nation offering a full range of finance and fleet management services throughout Australia including breakdown service, maintenance management, e-tolling, infringement management, as well as salary packaging.
She was named Supply Nation’s 2018 Young Indigenous Businesswoman of the Year, Supply Nation’s 2019 Indigenous Businesswoman of the Year, and Business Woman of 2021 at the Indigenous Emerging Business Forum.
