Smaller raisings lead IPO market
IN what is viewed as a tough market for floats, a number of smaller initial public offerings have forged ahead with their plans to list on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Ross Cotton has extensive experience in equity capital markets and corporate finance. As a corporate advisor, he has been advising both public and private companies on strategy, financing, acquisitions and corporate re-structuring across the technology, industrial and resource sectors for over 10 years.
Mr Cotton has raised significant capital for a wide range of companies in the small to mid-cap market, and has a strong network of contacts in the investment industry.
He was the executive chair of iCollege where he focused on acquisitions, financing and promotional activities. He was also on the board of Ausnet Financial Servives, formerly Namibian Copper, which became The Agency Group Australia.

Perth-based online education services provider iCollege has entered into a binding heads of agreement to fully acquire Dynamic Learning Services for $4 million.
Following a board reshuffle this morning, Perth-based online education provider iCollege has a new chairman and chief executive, with the size of the board reduced to three.
Doubleview-based Ausnet Real Estate Services, which is backed by mortgage aggregator Finsure and led by chief executive Paul Niardone, is seeking an ASX listing through a reverse takeover of Namibian Copper, which saw its share price crash by more than 50 per cent after the deal was announced.

Anthony Rechichi has been appointed chief financial officer of Blackham Resources, replacing Jeff Dawkins who has resigned from the company.
Ross Cotton has resigned as non-executive chair of iCollege. He joined the board in 2014 and was its chief executive prior to being appointed executive chair from October 2015 to June 2017.

White Cliff Minerals’ incoming executive chairman and mining veteran Roderick McIllree has vowed to mark his new role by immediately focusing on the company’s exploration and business development programs. Technical director Ed Mead will transition to the role of executive director of exploration and business development and the pair will work together to build a global development business of critical metals in low-risk jurisdictions.
