Peter Byrant has over 27 years of financial and company secretarial experience in the Australian, UK and US markets. He held leadership roles in a number of companies including ASX 100 company Seven West Media and engineering and development group, GRD (acquired by AMEC Australia Finance Company in 2009). Prior to joining Barminco, Mr Bryant was the group company secretary and chief financial officer (WA) at Seven West Media following the merger of The West Australian Newspaper Group (WAN) and the Seven Media Group in 2011. Prior to the formation of Seven West Media, he was chief financial officer and company secretary of WAN where he was the executive lead on the negotiation and implementation of WAN’s acquisition of Seven Media through a billion dollar capital raising. Mr Bryant holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and has completed the Professional Year Program. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
