Gavin Bain specialises in brand strategy, relationship marketing, large scale brand implementation projects, and cultural/internal/employer branding projects.
He was the chief executive of Meerkats from January 2010 until it was acquired by ASX-listed marketing company WPP AUNZ in July 2020, where he then became the Perth managing partner of Wunderman Thompson until February 2022. Since then, Mr Bain has been the national consulting director for a year and has been national chief executive of the group since March 2023.
Mr Bain has been the state chair of The Communications Council WA since February 2016. In May 2019, he was appointed a board member of The Communications Council, representing WA members on a national level.
