Emma Scotney has a background in corporate law and is an experienced non-executive director who has provided advice across multiple industries on an extensive range of critical matters including commercial contracts, corporate governance, private and public mergers & acquisitions, legal due diligence, royalty agreements, capital raisings, ASX listing rules and ASIC policy.
Ms Scotney has over 25 years of combined experience in the mining, agricultural and property industries.
Ms Scotney holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (Honours), post graduate Diploma in Management (Strategy and Finance), and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ms Scotney is also a co-editor of “The Negotiation of Key Merger and Acquisition Clauses – Getting the Deal Done” published by The Federation Press.
