Cycliq makes camera and lighting accessories for cyclists so they can record all the action and capture any incidents that happen on the ride.
Andrew Hagen was the co-founder and chief executive of Cycliq. He stepped down in April 2017. In his role as chief executive, Mr Hagen oversaw its senior management team including its Australian and international operations, and was responsible for creating and developing the business direction, sourcing seed funding, key relationship management, co-developing products, team building and promotion of the brand. He managed early-stage sales and established Cycliq’s international sales distribution network.
Mr Hagen has substantial experience in business development, management, marketing and sales. He worked in the property development industry as a director of Tuart Properties, a privately held property development business since 2003, and also as a development manager of ASX-listed and government-owned property development firms such as Brookfield, Mirvac, Peet, Cedar Woods and LandCorp over the course of 17 years.
Mr Hagen is also the director of Breakwater (WA), a private project management company.
