Alistair Morgan has extensive experience across law, risk management and compliance as a senior executive, director and company secretary. He has advised large global financial organisations on regulatory litigation, public-private partnerships and financial services reform, and has established and operated fintech/regtech startup enterprises.
Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway (formerly IMF Bentham) in January 2020 as general counsel for Australia & Asia, Mr Morgan was general counsel and company secretary of Australian Corporate Bond Company (a fintech startup and developer of ASX-listed Exchange Traded Bond units) and co-founder & director of Max ID (an Australian regtech company). He was also head of legal (institutional clients group) at Citigroup where he advised on trading, mergers, acquisitions, divestments and capital markets transactions across Australia and New Zealand; a strategic advisor to JP Morgan; and has held senior legal and leadership roles at UBS Warburg, Macquarie Bank and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
Mr Morgan holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Master of Laws.
