YMCA launches boutique gym
MORE than a century after opening its first gymnasium on Hay Street, the YMCA has launched a state-of-the-art facility in the Perth central business district.
The Y WA (formerly YMCA WA) is a not-for-profit community organisation which develops people and communities. Any profits it makes from commercial ventures are directed back into the community through a wide variety of programs and initiatives to provide health, fitness and personal development opportunities to all sections of our society. One such initiative is Big Brothers Big Sisters, Australia’s longest-serving, youth mentoring programme.
