The Shire of Esperance is located on Western Australia's southeast coast, 725km away from Perth.
The Shire has an area of 44,500 square kilometres, giving the region one of the lowest population densities to be found anywhere. It extends from Munglinup to Israelite Bay, and north to the Daniell rail siding.
It includes the suburbs of Bandy Creek, Beaumont, Cascade, Castletown, Chadwick, Condingup, Coomalbidgup, Dalyup, Esperance, Gibson, Grass Patch, Nulsen, Pink Lake, Salmon Gums, Scaddan, Sinclair, West Beach, and Windabout.
