Pilbara Ports Authority was formed on 1 July 2014 as a result of the merger of the Port Hedland and Dampier Port Authorities.
Stretching from the Port of Ashburton near Onslow in the south to Port Hedland in the north, Pilbara Ports Authority will include the proposed Ports of Anketell and the Cape Preston East.
