Oresusa is the family company of Frank Romano who built his fortune in the fast-food business through Australian Fast Foods, which became Quick Service Restaurant Holdings and owned the Chicken Treat and Red Rooster franchises. The business grew into a national force before business partner Nick Tana sold his stake as part of a $180 million deal with private equity player Quadrant in 2007. Four years late, another private equity player Archer Capital backed a management buyout a reported $450 million price tag, marking the exit of Mr Romano, who had a 15 per cent shareholding in the business. Mr Romano, who sits on the board of Perth Markets, owns food wholesaler and exporter Olympic Fine Foods and related business and property.
