Prochoice Global Investments is the family office of the Bird family behind Paramount Safety Products, a leader in industrial safety products.
‍Founded by the late Rob Bird in Perth in 1992, Paramount operates across Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, the Pacific Islands, Asia, North America, Canada and Europe.
In June 2021, Paramount Safety Products was acquired by US company Protective Industrial Products, a global leader in hand protection and PPE for the industrial, construction, and retail markets. The Bird family have maintained a stake in the business following the deal, valued at $160m in cash from a $227m deal.
