Nyimili Hire and Contracting is a partner in the Indigenous Shared Services Group, which is a group of Indigenous businesses that co-invest, pool and share resources to help Indigenous individuals, families and communities trade, invest and work together to create a self determining economic future.
The company is a majority Indigenous owned and operated business that provides a suite of general contracting services within the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It was founded by Yinhawangka Traditional Owner Roy Tommy and his family, alongside other Indigenous investors that belong to Palyku, Nyiyaparli, Kariyarra, Banjima, Nyamal, Noongar and Yuet peoples.
Nyimili Hire and Contracting has a target of spending 10% of its revenue on activities with a direct economic impact to the Indigenous community, so that other Indigenous families can benefit from it.
