Volunteers are ‘the lifeblood’ of not-for-profits
National Volunteer Week, celebrated this year on 20–26 May, highlights the important contribution volunteers make to the not-for-profit sector.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA (MNDAWA) is a registered charity and support organisation that works with people living with motor neurone disease, their families, friends and carers throughout WA. MNDAWA has provided support for people living with MND since 1983 and is a member of the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Australia.
