Thiess backs new Marine & Civil
Engineering and construction contractor Marine & Civil is set to emerge from administration after striking a deal with Thiess to establish a new jointly owned company.
The former Company Marine & Civil focused on project management, construction management, design works, provide constructability reviews, provide budgets and perform procurement, construction and maintenance through a number of different contract models. It has project management experience throughout the organisation derived from involvement in both marine and civil projects throughout Australia and overseas. Marine & Civil continues to maintain and develop its capability to undertake planning, design, procurement and construction of complex and challenging infrastructure projects. Areas of specialisation include steel piling and piling solutions (drilling, anchoring, grouting), foundation construction, marine works (working over water), structural decks and fender construction/repair. Be it major traffic areas, environmentally sensitive surroundings, remote locations or tight access, Marine & Civil has carried out work successfully. The company went into administration mid 2018.
