Margaret River Premium Meat Exports (MRPME) is a vertically integrated Wagyu beef business. They produce premium branded "Margaret River Wagyu Beef" and export it to 15 countries. Commencing business at Cowaramup in 2003, the company now owns the largest herd of pure-bred Wagyu in Western Australia and employs a network of farmers throughout the South West who manage the breeding, backgrounding and feeding of the Wagyu cattle.
The company was acquired by Stone Axe Pastoral in February 2019, with both MRPME co-founders John McLeod & Geoff Pearson becoming shareholders.
