Luiri Gold Limited, through its subsidiaries, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of gold, copper-gold, and iron properties in Africa. The company holds mineral tenements in southern-central Zambia covering approximately 1,200 square kilometers focused on the Luiri Hill project. It also owns interest in the Nambala iron project located on the west of the Luiri Hill project. The company was formerly known as Stirling Exploration Ltd and changed its name to Luiri Gold Limited in June 2006.
Luiri shareholders voted to delist the company in 2017, following the acquisition of Aluminium Metal Recyclers (Proprietary) Limited, a South African company which owns and operates a metal processing facility in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
