Lonestar Resources is an independent oil and gas company involved in exploration, production, and acquisition of oil and gas reserves. Its operations are focused onshore with primary activity in Eagle Ford Shale and the Williston Basin in Montana. The company is active in sourcing other assets in proven producing areas. Lonestar Resources is the product of a reverse merger transaction between Amadeus Energy and Ecofin Energy Resources as of January 2, 2013. In June 2016 the company delisted from the ASX after the completion of a scheme of arrangement to re-domicile the company in the US.
