Linear Clinical Research is the clinical trials arm of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. It was established in 2011 with funding from the WA state government.
Linear specialises in the conduct of early-phase clinical trials and has a purpose-built phase I facility to support first-in-human through to phase II clinical trials. Linear predominantly services the US biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry where Australia offers a fast regulatory framework to move investigational therapeutics into human trials without requiring an IND.
