Indus (previously known as Watpac Civil & Mining) was a contracting business headquartered in Perth and had a history of delivering projects in remote locations, from the Pilbara and Kalgoorlie to the Bowen Basin in Queensland. The business employed over 150 people nationally and was focused on mining and civil infrastructure projects.
Indus had experience in project management, contract open-cut mining, drilling and blasting, and mineral & processing facilities. Civil services in Western Australia included mine access and haul roads, tailings dams, airfields, storage dams, marine works, bulk earthworks, bridge works, road works, drainage, pipework and HDPE liner installation.
Indus Mining Services entered administration in October 2019 and appointed liquidators in July 2024.
