Founded by entrepreneur and engineer Darren Lomman in 2016, Greenbatch is a social enterprise that aims to reduce the amount of single-use plastic being sent to landfills, litter, rivers, oceans and waste incinerators.
With in-kind support from UWA and other supporters, it is developing a reprocessing facility in Western Australia that will convert plastic bottles into 3D printing filament, that it will be sell to schools, among other buyers.
