Frontier Energy (formerly Superior Lake Resources and Ishine International Resources) engages in the exploration and development of mineral prospects in Australia. It primarily explores for copper, gold, nickel, iron, manganese, uranium, lead, and zinc deposits.
The company holds 70% interests in the Mount Watson project, which covers an area of 103.6 square kilometres located in north-northeast of Mount Isa; the Boomarra tenement that covers an area of 119.8 square kilometres situated in north of Cloncurry in the Carpentaria Basin; and the Falcon Ridge tenements, which covers an area of 143 square kilometres located in north of Laverton in central western Australia.
The company changed its name from Ishine International Resources to Superior Lake Resources in 2018 following the acquisition of Superior Mining Pty Ltd, owner of 70% of the issue capital of Ophiolite Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 617 182 966) (Ophiolite), a proprietary exploration company and is the legal and beneficial owner of the zinc and copper prospective “Pick Lake Project” located in Ontario, Canada. It then changed its name to Frontier Energy in February 2022.
In August 2022, Frontier Energy began trading on the US-based OTCQX market.
