Findex (formerly Crowe Horwath) is a large provider of practical accounting, audit, tax, business and financial advice to individuals and businesses from a network of over 80 offices throughout the country.
In 2007, Grant Thornton's WA practice led by Geoff Kidd switched to WHK Horwath.
In 2010, Hayes Knight became part of the WHK Horwath network. The network changed its name to Crowe Horwath in 2012.
In 2015 Findex Group acquired Crowe Horwath for an implied equity value of $137 million with the backing of US private equity firm KKR & Co, and then delisted the accountancy group. Crowe Horwath changed its company name to that of its parent company - Findex.
