EcoGraf, formerly known as Kibaran Resources (ASX: KNL), is an ASX-listed exploration company focused on unlocking the graphite potential of the mineral-rich landscapes of Tanzania, East Africa. The primary focus is on the 100%-owned Epanko Deposit – a key graphite target within the Mahenge Graphite Project area, which has been identified to host large flake graphite with ‘expanded’ properties. It also has rights to the Merelani-Arusha Graphite Project, located in the north-east of Tanzania. Merelani-Arusha is considered to be highly prospective for new discoveries of graphite mineralisation.
Although of secondary focus, EcoGraf also has interest in nickel sulphide exploration. The Company has full rights to the Kagera Nickel Project in Tanzania, an underexplored nickel play, located along strike of the world-class Xstrata-owned Kabanga nickel deposit.
The company changed its name from Kibaran Resources to EcoGraf in December 2019.
