BGC was founded by the late architect-turned-construction-magnate Len Buckeridge on the back of a large and active affordable housing design practice.
Still family-owned, BGC became one of Australia's largest and WA's largest privately-owned company.
In April 2021 BGC Australia acquired Midland Brick, assuming management control of its staff and manufacturing operations.
